About us
In 2019, when KCF was founded, we were confronted with a harsh reality: many children in our community had no access to quality education. The few schools that existed offered substandard learning, leaving young minds to face a future with limited hope. As we dug deeper, we discovered that many children weren’t attending school at all, not because of a lack of desire but because their parents saw no value in education. This tragic misunderstanding has led to a ripple effect of pain in the community, contributing to rising teenage pregnancies and heartbreaking cases of child neglect

At KCF, we believe that education is the key to ending this cycle of despair. Our school project is about more than just building walls—it’s about opening doors to a brighter future, one where every child has the chance to learn, grow, and dream. By keeping children in school, we aim to reshape the beliefs of the community, ensuring that education becomes a beacon of hope for generations to come.

Since KCF’s inception, God has been faithful, and through the generosity of kind-hearted individuals, what began as a dream(2019) has blossomed into a reality. Initially, we were renting(2023) a small space to serve as a temporary school in Lugali, but now we have managed to purchase some land where the “People’s School for Change” proudly stands. The signs of bigger fruits are already showing, as we are now running classes from nursery through grade 6, with hopes to expand to grade 7 soon.
The need for quality education remains urgent. Many children here have been denied the opportunity to learn due to a lack of proper facilities, which has contributed to issues like teenage pregnancy and child neglect. We believe that keeping children in school is the key to breaking these cycles, and with your help, we can continue to provide a brighter future for these young lives.
We’ve already made significant strides, but much work remains. We’ve acquired some land, but we need more to fully realize our vision of building a school that will accommodate 1,000 pupils and 50 staff members. Our aim is not just to offer education but to provide an environment where children can thrive—one that fosters critical skills like fluency in English, encourages self-confidence, and provides a safe, clean, and nurturing space where they can dream big.
We are seeking $92,286 in funding to build permanent school facilities, complete with classrooms, sanitation systems, and the resources needed to offer a world-class education to children who would otherwise be left behind.
