In 2019, Kuzza Children’s Foundation was established in the heart of Lugali, Butambala District, where the devastating impact of teenage pregnancy has long plagued our community. Despite numerous interventions, this issue remains a significant social concern, although we are beginning to see a glimmer of hope as cases gradually decline. From the moment our organization took a stand against this crisis, we have witnessed a transformative shift in our community.

Many households are now child-headed due to the consequences of teenage pregnancy. To address this pressing issue, we initiated awareness campaigns and education programs, empowering teenagers to reclaim control over their bodies and lives. We teach them about their rights and the importance of improving their quality of life, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.

Our efforts have expanded through community engagement, collaboration with local law enforcement, and the introduction of New Hope Ministries (NHM), a ministry dedicated to restoring hope and transforming lives. This ministry has played a crucial role in changing mindsets and attitudes, helping us combat teenage pregnancy not just in our community, but throughout Uganda.
