On the 15th of October, there was a fellowship service that was conducted, specifically focusing on the importance of baptism. Following this, the New Hope Ministries team transported each member to a nearby waterhole and over 38 people were baptised, with the help of other people supporting the baptisms. Once the team transported all of the church members back to the church, there was a time of anointing and praying for each church member. Ms Ahlia Higlett, Mr Wasswa Edrine, Mr Bamutya Diplock and Pastor Joseph led the anointing and prayer.
New Hope Ministries was fortunate enough to be supported by the HumeRidge church of Christ to buy bibles for each member of the church, with this money, over sixty bibles were distributed as well as a children’s bible for the Sunday School teacher to work through and reference.
The distribution of bibles and the baptisms was a success for New Hope Ministries and a step further to the future of this ministry. As Kkuza Children’s foundation we will be continuing to follow up with each new believer and enabling each member to grow their faith through different teachings and shared knowledge.
