  • Career and academic guidance
  • Sexual reproductive health
  • Menstrual hygiene
  • Personal soft skills development for self-survival
  • Early pregnancies

The purpose of the programme was to help young people to: understand the changes that their bodies go through during puberty; resist peer pressure; delay their first experience of sex; understand AIDS and STIs and know how they can be avoided; avoid unplanned pregnancies; detect the symptoms of STIs; and understand the importance of getting early treatment in order to avoid the long-term effects of these diseases. Menstrual materials were also distributed to girls. Both schools had a population of 1900 students (both girls and boys)
