We are excited to share a wonderful story of hope and opportunity! Saidat, a bright and determined 17-year-old girl from the Banda slum in Kampala, has been given the chance to pursue her education after three long years of waiting.

Living with her single mother, Saidat faced the harsh reality of being unable to afford high school tuition. Despite her potential and desire to learn, she was unable to continue her studies, a situation all too common in the communities we serve.

However, during one of our regular visits to the slums, Saidat’s story touched the hearts of our team. This year, she was blessed to receive a sponsor who recognized her potential and offered her the gift of education. Thanks to their generosity, Saidat is now enrolled in high school and on the path to achieving her dreams!
